Summary

  • #6 start.sh: use -c /app/code/initcfg instead of -c /app/data/cfg/copyparty.conf — initcfg was created in the Dockerfile but never passed to copyparty, so chdir:/app/data/state, no-crt, and the % /app/data/cfg include were silently ignored. Without chdir, copyparty would attempt to write its SQLite index to /app/code (read-only at runtime) and crash.
  • #7 CloudronManifest.json: add memoryLimit: 1073741824 (1 GB) — the Cloudron default of 256 MB is insufficient for FFmpeg + multimedia indexing.
  • #9 CloudronManifest.json: fix postInstallMessage — it referenced admin: in logs but the actual line is => ADMIN PASSWORD:. Now also points to /app/data/cfg/copyparty.conf as a more reliable fallback.

Test plan

  • Build Docker image locally
  • Install on Cloudron dev instance
  • Verify first-run creates /app/data/cfg/copyparty.conf with admin credentials
  • Verify app starts without crash (no write-to-read-only errors in logs)
  • Verify file indexing (e2dsa/e2ts) runs without errors
  • Verify SQLite DB is created under /app/data/state/ (not /app/code/)
  • Verify postInstallMessage is shown correctly after install
## Summary - **#6** `start.sh`: use `-c /app/code/initcfg` instead of `-c /app/data/cfg/copyparty.conf` — `initcfg` was created in the Dockerfile but never passed to copyparty, so `chdir:/app/data/state`, `no-crt`, and the `% /app/data/cfg` include were silently ignored. Without `chdir`, copyparty would attempt to write its SQLite index to `/app/code` (read-only at runtime) and crash. - **#7** `CloudronManifest.json`: add `memoryLimit: 1073741824` (1 GB) — the Cloudron default of 256 MB is insufficient for FFmpeg + multimedia indexing. - **#9** `CloudronManifest.json`: fix `postInstallMessage` — it referenced `admin:` in logs but the actual line is `=> ADMIN PASSWORD:`. Now also points to `/app/data/cfg/copyparty.conf` as a more reliable fallback. ## Test plan - [ ] Build Docker image locally - [ ] Install on Cloudron dev instance - [ ] Verify first-run creates `/app/data/cfg/copyparty.conf` with admin credentials - [ ] Verify app starts without crash (no write-to-read-only errors in logs) - [ ] Verify file indexing (`e2dsa`/`e2ts`) runs without errors - [ ] Verify SQLite DB is created under `/app/data/state/` (not `/app/code/`) - [ ] Verify postInstallMessage is shown correctly after install

Closes #6, #7, #9

- start.sh: pass -c /app/code/initcfg instead of -c /app/data/cfg/copyparty.conf
so that chdir:/app/data/state, no-crt, and the % /app/data/cfg include are
actually applied at runtime (the file existed but was never used)
- CloudronManifest.json: add memoryLimit: 1073741824 (1 GB) — the default 256 MB
is insufficient for FFmpeg + multimedia indexing
- CloudronManifest.json: fix postInstallMessage to reference the correct log
string ("=> ADMIN PASSWORD:") and point to the config file as a fallback
Group runtime fields together (manifestVersion, minBoxVersion,
healthCheckPath, httpPort, memoryLimit) and move documentationUrl
next to website.
